For teachers

The poster pairs with the entries themselves. Each item on it has a short URL, so a student who wants the full explanation, the worked example, and the counter-example can get there in one step. Every entry also has a section on how to fix the argument, which tends to be more useful in a seminar than a list of things not to do.

There's also a ten-question quiz that includes two arguments which are perfectly sound, so it tests judgment rather than pattern-matching.

Printing notes

• The PDF is vector, so it stays sharp at any size. It's set up at 18 x 24 inches.
• Scaling to A2 or 11 x 17 works fine. Below roughly 11 x 17 the definitions get tight.
• Print shops can use the PDF directly. The PNG is 150 DPI and is meant for screens.
